Pride Month - A Conversation by Nasty Women LA

Our June conversation / happy-hour is here !

In honor of Pride Month we'll host a conversation on LGBTQ rights, gender and representation in the Arts. Nasty Women LA is hosted by LA's organizers Amanda Maciel Antunes & Anais Godard, and moderated by The writer and journalist Cecile Delarue.

There will be Sangria, Art, Conversations, Guest Artists.

Our June Guest Artists are:

Ania Catherine

Ania Catherine (artist and choreographer) holds a master's degree from the London School of Economics, and through bodies explores the intersections of performance and her academic research in gender, sexuality, representation, and politics. In addition to her personal practice, she works internationally performing, choreographing, speaking, directing, and teaching.

Ari Seth Cohen

Ari Seth Cohen (photographer) is the creator of Advanced Style, a street style blog documenting, in his words, the “fashion and wisdom of the senior set.” Cohen’s blog was made into a best-selling book, also titled ‘Advanced Style.’ Cohen is passionate about his subjects and society’s treatment of older people.

KING KONA 

An Atlanta raised singer/songwriter, at the start of her career, who delivers a refreshing take on soul that has already resulted in an impressive online following and creative collaborations. Her highly anticipated project Uncanny, scheduled to release in July will serve as her debut LP.

Our Nasty Moderator :

Cecile Delarue

The Conversation will be Moderated by the French writer and Journalist Cecile Delarue. Cecile is also the author of a couple cookbooks and founder of the blog FrenchandParfait.com

It is open to everyone, and we encourage men to join in.
