As part of @nastywomenla The Exhibition — we will be screening the film IGNOFEAR:

Based on true events.
What happens when we blame one ethnic or religious group for all our problems? Can we learn from our past mistakes?
'Ignorance creates fear, which then turns into hate.'

followed by Q&A with IGNOFEAR ‘s writer Monia Ayachi.

Monia Ayachi is an LA based actress/writer/producer recurring on "General Hospital". She actively works in TV and film, locally and internationally. She wrote and produced "Ignofear", a film festival favorite, which took home first place at the Audience Awards at the California Women's Film Festival in Hollywood this year and is an official selection for the Canadian Diversity Film Festival in Toronto. Monia is Euro-Arab. She speaks five languages: French, Dutch, English, Spanish and Arabic. Due to her mixed heritage, Monia is compelled to write stories about minorities. She is currently raising money to fund her next film called "For the love of hate", a love story between a muslim girl and a non-muslim girl.
